No, it is on all programs and tool options. I have gone over all settings
that I can think of and I even uninstalled and reinstalled jaws 14 but
this changed nothing. I also ran a restore . I am convinced it is a
setting that I somehow changed through carelessness. Thanks much,

Hi Fred,
Is this only happening in a specific program? If it is, try maximizing the
window & see if that helps. Maximize keystroke, Windows Key + Up arrow.

I am using W7, and jaws 14 and somehow I have turned off the menu feature.
When I press the alt key, jaws says not available and when I go to tools
options, jaws only says button but does not say what the button is for. I
would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to turn this feature back
