I believe you are correct Earth man. The latest version normally installs
whatever components that your system might be missing.

As far as I know you do not need to upgrade sequentially but can always go
to current version as long as your hardware/software supports it If this is
not true, someone on list correct me please

I am using W7, IE 8 and latest jaws on a 64 bit computer and cannot upgrade
to IE 9 as I have tried many times.  Is it possible to skip ie 9 and install
IE 10?  I can install IE 9 64 bit version and jaws says it has been
installed and I must restart my computer.  I restart my computer and bring
up the desktop and everything seems fine to this point but nothing works
after this.  Restarting again does nothing.  I will appreciate any info or
suggestions on this.   Thanks much,
