Hello,
There is a player called MaPler which was created for those who are
blind. It was created by blind programmers. The player does cost
something like $10 U.S. or so. It has a lot of similar controls to that
of winamp. You can rewind and fast forward with the arrow keys. It
will also play audio books and allow you to place bookmarks. I have
been using it for quite some time and it is very accessible with JAWS.
You can find it at:

Had not heard this... Are there any which will allow the user to fast
forward/rewind in a similar manner to that feature in WinAmp?

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Alternatives to Winamp
For those of you who are lamenting the impending shutdown of Winamp on Dec.
20, the following article discusses alternatives worth considering. If
anyone has tried one of these alternative media players, perhaps you can
comment on its accessibility with JAWS.
