Even if the old keyboard has the older connection you can get a converter. When I had a folding keyboard it had the older plug and I bought a converter to plug it into a USB port.

Hi Marilyn,
As long as the keyboard will connect to the computer,
it should work the same as on Windows XP.
If you have a keyboard with a PS2 connector, and there are no PS2 ports on
the new computer
then you would need to make a change.

People, why do I need a new keyboard for windows seven? Several people
have suggested that my keyboard for xp won't work on the new computer. What
is the real story on this? I use ergonomic keyboard and wou
Marilynld be comfortable learning my new win 7 if I weren't fighting the new
ergonomic key board . THanks. Marilyn
