Your ergonomic keyboard may need specific drivers that are not provided
by the manufacturer or micorosoft.
If this is the case, you keyboard may or may not work on Win 7.
Plenty of good hardware has been made obsolete by new versions of
operating systems.
You'll have to suck it and see.
However, a garden-variety keyboard should work out of the box on any
version of windows.
