Turn on or off automatic formatting options

1. Choose the File tab.
2. Choose Options.
3. Choose Mail.
4. Under Compose messages, choose Editor Options.
5. Under AutoCorrect Options, choose AutoCorrect Options.
6. Choose the AutoFormat As You Type tab.
7. Select or clear the check boxes for the options that you want to enable
or disable.

I would like to disable automatic numbering in outlook 2010. And disable
outlook from placing symbols. For example when I try and type December third
I get December 3rd  containing a superscript symbol.
