How would I know I would have to update the video drivers? The problem is that I'm not sure which codec that I need to use for a dvd that I received from a well-known ministry. I can't seem to be able to play the dvd. That is the real problem that I have. My operating system is windows xp service pack 3. I hope that this would give some more information. ----- Original Message ----- From: "isaac" <[email protected]>

What operating system. Windows 8 does not come with the ability to play
dvd unless your manufacturer included powerdvd or something like it.

Hi list members, i'd like to know whether I have the right version of windows media player. I ask this question because I've been trying to look for the right codec for a dvd that I have but I've been unsuccessful in finding it. I'd like to know what should I do? Thank you for any information that you might have concerning this problem.
