There are a few minor differences. Some of the submenus have different keystrokes associated with them. Also, there seem to be more accessible options in the album view menu in WMP12. However, I found the interface in WMP11 to be more streamlined. (It's a bi t like the (later) Ribbons versus (earlier) menus thing that has been discussed on the list in other threads.)
