Hi Tom,

It's a symbol that is necessary to use when trying to make Jaws sing. read
the line below character by character to see how it's used:

`vb60 Happy `vb65 Birth`vb60 day `vb65 Too `vb60 You

Take care.
Mike

Thanks, Mike.
I knew the alt key had something to do with it. I completely spaced about
the numlock, though.
Peace bro! and good Monday to ya.

Hi Kimsan,

I sent this again with the subject line changed.

position your cursor on the back quote mark. Press Numpad 5 three times
quickly and JAWS will speak the ASCII or code equivalent of that character.
Now when you want to type it, just turn NumLock on, hold down the Alt key
and press that code as a 4-digit number (use a leading zero as necessary).
In this case you won't need to type the, 0, because it's a 4 digit code,
8245.

The grave / tilda key won't work in this case. The grave code is 96 & the
tilda code is, 126. Here's a back quote to test, it's in between the stars
below:

*`*

HTH
Take care.
Mike

Read this word by word. It is the grave accent ` key, below the ESC key, the
top leftmost on many keyboard.
