You can download and install Adobe Flash Player 12.0, the latest version,
from the web site below. I have found this site to be the easiest and most
straightforward means to download and install Flash Player. When
installing Flash Player for IE, be sure to uncheck the box for installing
Google Chrome and Tool Bar, which is checked by default. When installing
Flash Player for Firefox, be sure to uncheck the box for installing McAfee
Security Scan Plus, which is also checked by default. In previous versions
of Flash Player for Firefox, there was no way to deselect the installation
of Security Scann Plus, so at least Adobe finally got the message and no
longer forces you to install it if you don't want it.

Hi all,
when I am in thunder bird and I enter the add-on manager tab and check to
see if my plug ins are up to date it says that flash player needs to be
updated so I click on update now and it tells me that I do not have to
install flash player and a whole lot of other junk comes up about windows
8 issues.
so I need to know how to update it?
