If you're looking for a good RSS reader, then The Old Reader is a very good
choice. It's the closest thing to Google reader I've found. I find it to be
much superior than the built in IE RSS reader. You geta  better overview of
all your feeds and articles and you can access it from either IE or Firefox.
I have it set as my home page in both browsers. That and you have the plus
of using it in conjunction with Feedller for iOS if you own an iPhone, iPad
or iPod.

If you are serious about keeping up with the news, you should learn how to 
use the RSS feed reader built into Internet Explorer and subscribe to a 
number of news sites like CNN and Fox News.  Because I read daily newspapers

using NFB Newsline, I am more interested in subscribing to web sites for 
technology news.  One of the best such sites is CNET News, whose RSS feed 
provides continual updates on the latest developments in technology. The IE 
RSS feed reader is completely JAWS accessible and is very easy to use once 
you become familiar with its keystrokes. Below are the links to the FS page
