I have just now downloaded the prior version of Drop Box before this newest release which is: 2.65. I was using successfully 2.41 until an added system had been synced and this somehow decided I wanted this later version. Anyways, I wanted to let the list know, you can download older version or at least some from Drop Box. Click on the install link, then I clicked on the release notes to the current version, this gave me info on what they fixed, then I was able to continue reading about prior version and it provided a direct link to download, yippee!
