Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Problem with saving a doc in Word 2010

With my windows seven and word ten after editing a new file with word, which
I want to save, I press alternet F. I hear the announcement , save. then I
press down arrow and hear the announcement, A, save as. I press return
and I hear something from the first line of the document. If this is what I
want to call the file then I press return. I hear a tone showing that the
file was saved. If I want to save the file under a different name, I type it
in and then press return. I hear a saved tone.
If I edit an existing file and want to save it without changing it's name,
I press alt F then I hear the announcement, save. I press return and hear
the save tone. I hope that this helps.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Problem with saving a doc in Word 2010

With Win 7, JAWS 12 and Word 2010, it is no longer a straight, simple shot
to close and save a Word doc., after changes have been made to it or it has
been created for the first time.

It used to prompt me to save the doc. And the alt s did this quickly.

Now, it goes immediately to a prompt on the arrows, a choice of two if I
wish to remove the files which I do not and I arrow to review the file
later, then okay it on the tab and it will only then close properly.

This annoyance wastes a lot of time during any day.

How can I eliminate this extra work and go back to saving like everyone else
does in Word 2010?

Thanks for all help.
