the shredder appears in the recycle bin to permanently delete files. you
can do the same without macaffe shredder by using the windows shortcuts
shift+delete
but the shift+delete removes files without sending them to the recycle bin
and shredder deletes files permantly for files that are already in the
recycle bin

I have a shredder on my McAfee anti virus program and I was wondering if
any one knew what exactly it does?
I never had a shredder before on my antivirus programs that I have used.
