Are you sure this is the correct key combination to bring up the default settings center? -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Flor Lynch Sent: Saturday, February 15, 2014 10:24 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws Not Reading Phone Numbers Properly Are you going into the default Settings Center? (Ctrl+Shift+d.) That's where you need to go, if you want to make changes universal. In my case, Windows7 64-bit. Latest build of JAWS15 using Eloquence, I have: number processing controlled by synthesizer, and it speaks single digits; if number contains 5 or more digits, speak single digits; and, if number contains dashes, checked, and it speaks single digits (as it should). be sure to cycle through the values in that dialogue with spacebar for all of the relevant items until you reach the one you want set. If prompted to save changes you made when exiting, do so. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Geoff Connor" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, February 15, 2014 3:01 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws Not Reading Phone Numbers Properly >I am using the latest build of Jaws 15 and have tried both eloquence >and 1 > of the new vocalizer voices.
