Hi Annette,
Occasionally I have this happening to me using JAWS 14 on a
windows XP machine with outlook 2007. I usually don't end up
writing an entire email before I notice it because I have a
braille display, and I can see it happening. I have tried many
things like closing outlook, then reloading JAWS, and just
refreshing the screen. The only thing that works is rebooting the
computer. The only reason I can think of that it happens to me is
that at work I have to remote into various computers and end of
using different versions of JAWS from 7 to 14. I have been
thinking that maybe after awhile JAWS just gets really confused.
However, rebooting is no fun when you are working and already
remoted into 2 computers.
If anyone else has any ideas, I know Annette and I would sure
like to hear them.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
Debby

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Spaces & Hard Returns Missing from E-mails
Hi All,
I am using JAWS 14 on a Windows 7 computer. When typing the body
of an
e-mail message in Outlook 2010, I'm finding that all spaces and
hard returns
are missing. I will type up the message and JAWS is reading what
I type in
as it should. When I attempt to go to the top of the message to
re-read it,
I get absolutely no feedback from JAWS. I have to use Alt+Tab to
move away
from the message and then return to it. Once back in the
message, all of
the characters I typed are there, but there are no spaces or hard
returns in
the message. This is happening on both of my work computers.
Does anyone
have any ideas to what is going on and how to get rid of the
problem?
Thanks,
Annette
