Have you ascertained whether or not your first problem is a JAWS
problem?
Press ctrl+JAWSKey+NumpadMinus . JAWS will say "the JAWS cursor
will/will not follow the PC cursor". You want "will not". Press those
keys again if it says 'will follow...'

My menus on my 64 bit PC running jaws v15 is not reading correctly.
So, to
resolve the problem I thought it would be helpful if I got the latest
release of Jaws v15 for 64 bit. However, after about 50% of the
download I
keep getting an error message that the download was interrupted. I
tried
downloading the program five times. I am making sure I am downloading
jaws
for 64 bit from the FTP link. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
