You are absolutely right. It is such a pleasure to get such excellent directions and ones that work like a charm.

laughing, though I was the only one confused.
Mike does an outstanding job explaining something, he never leaves you
guessing how to do something.

Trish:

No. I am always so confused that you didn't do any damage (grin). I
followed Mike's directions and they worked perfectly.

Hi Trish,

If you don't tab & arrow up to Local Folders it puts the new folder in a
different level than your other folders. The new folder will go into
level
3 & the folder list is level 2. It's been a long time since I've put a
folder into level 3 but, if I remember correctly having folders in level 3
can cause some navigation problems. HTH
Take care.

Mike,

When I press the key combination, it lands me in the edit field, do not
need
to tab or up arrow. after I've named it, then ok, it's in the list like
you

Hi Again Linda,

Forgot to change the subject line to reflect the new topic being
discussed.

While in Windows Mail press, control, shift, + E, you'll be in a edit
field
so, type in the name of the folder, tab 1 time , arrow up to Local
Folders,
tab 1 time to the okay button, press the spacebar, & the new folder will
be
in your folder list. HTH

Take care.

Making a new folder Hi List!

I am using a Windows 7 laptop with JAWS 15 and Windows Mail as my email
client and am having a senior half hour. I can't remember how to make a
new
folder and would appreciate instructions for a computer illiterate or
directions on where to go to find out.

Tia.
