hi, do you have a windows machine that you can use to format the flash
drive? Most flash drives are formatted as fat32, which means that macs and
windows machines can use it. If you formatted the flash drive as mac
extended journal, then windows won't be able to use it.

I can not locate where to formate the hd previously used on an apple
computer. In device manager under drives it is listed as a seagate usb
drive. It notifies me that the device is working correctly. I do not see
anywhere where I can reformat it for a windows machine. I did not see
anything on the lacy web page to help.
