Hello Don,

The notes are kind of tricky in PowerPoint. I always open a word doc and write my notes in word since I can spell check in word. I then copy and paste them in the notes pain of the chosen slide. After you do there is no way to edit them or see them with a jaws curser, so it looks like you did not put any notes on the page but they are there. However, after you start your slide show a control shift N will announce any notes you have on a page. I hope this helps!

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Adding notes to a powerpoint in powerpoint 2007

Hi,

I am working on a ppt slideshow for a class, and I would like ot add some notes for myself in the notes pane, but when I switch over to the notes pane, I can't figure out how to actually add the notes. I can't just type into the pane, and I can't seem to drop a text object onto the pane to allow me to enter text there.

Is there a trick to this?
