I am having problems with SameTime 8.5.2 on Windows 7 with JAWS 15.0.7023. I
have SameTime configured to have each conversation open as a new window
since I never did seem to get JAWS to work with SameTime as a single
multi-tabbed chat window. I have been using SameTime for a number of years
and did not have as many problems when I was running on Windows XP and JAWS
11.

I use to use CTRL+T to switch to the chat window and then I could arrow up
and down, select text, and activate links in the chat window. Under the new
configuration, if I use CTRL+T, then I can no longer even use the JAWS
cursor to read the bottom of the chat window. And even if I don't use
CTRL+T, there are still many times that I cannot read the latest part of the
chat window. I do maximize the chat windows to sometime get around this
problem, but that only works some of the time.

Another problem is that when a message is coming into SameTime, there are
many times that JAWS reverts to a whisper and I cannot hear the message even
if I have stopped everything else. And then I go to one of the chat windows
to try and find out what was sent, but the above problems can often cause me
not to even know who sent me a message.

I often have 6 or mor chat windows open during the day as SameTime is an
integral component of communicating with my co-workers, many of whom work in
different buildings.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.
