Hi Lenny,

Below are several notes I've saved regarding this subject. Hope they help.

You can still use the shortcut key strokes shift, control and F for font and
shift, control and P for the font size respectively.

The quickest way I know of is
control shift p
this will bring you to the font size dialogue box and using the arrows you
can select the font size you wish
or just type in your suggested size
tabbing through this area will give you much to choose from
Good luck
Janie

From: Kimsan
Bring up the font dialog with CTRL shift f from within word and use your up
and down arrow keys and press enter on the option of your choice.

This is a large subject that I'm reading about today in CathyAnne Murtha's
textbook, which I strongly recommend for anyone learning Word 2010. The
hotkey for the fonts dialog is, control + B.

Dani, there are at least two other ways to skin this cat. Ann just reminded
us of one, via the applications key. You also get to fonts via the ribbon by
pressing alt-h, f, then n.

What's great about these ribbons, which I was dreading, is that you can
almost always avoid them with hotkeys and alternatives like the applications
key.

Take care.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] changing font in word 2010

Using the ribbons, how do you change the font size and type in word 2010.
There is an article that a kid figured that you will save a lot of ink if
you change to 12-point Garamond. You would save about 29 percent in ink
costs. I would like to print a few pages to have someone tell me if it is
still easy to read and scan.
