Hello Jim,

Are you talking about word documents? If you are I am using word 2007 and you can press the alt key while in the document and arrow to the right until you hear review and down arrow until you then hear protect sub menu. Press right arrow on the sub menu to open it and you will find a protect document button I believe this button when pressed will effectively make your document a read only document. I hope this helps

Sincerely, Ryan West

How do you set a document to the read only mode?
I just want to read these documents not change any text in them.
I did the application key, properties and checked the read only box, however this did not work.
any help would be appreciated...

Jim:

Spring is here, spring is here.

All God's feathered creatures, cry out like preachers.

Singing about God's creation, awaiting His future restoration.

Giving glory to Him, perched upon their limbs.

listen to the birds, as their voices merge.

Singing about God's love, pouring down from above.

Preparing to fly away, searching out their prey.

Awesome is the sight, their wings in flight.

Gliding towards the ground, their food soon found.

Providing for their chicks, food diverse and mixed.

What a wonderful design, from God's eternal mind.

god bless.
