Pete,
You can also do a restore through safe mode.
But, jaws is not talking at that time, so you will need a pair of eyeballs
with you.
Press the F8 key rapidly, while the pc is booting up.
If, successful, the safe mode screen should pop up, if not, shut the pc and
retry.
It's a nice little menu there, be careful.

Using Jaws 12 and running Windows 7, how does one create a restore point?
My friend is trying to restore her computer to March 26th and the only date
she is seeing when doing a systems restore is yesterday.
