No that will change my home page.
but I did figure it out I had to go into internet options and right
arrow to programs and then tab to manage add-ons and enter then select
search providers and then tab once and select bing from the list and
then tab to set as default and then tab to close.

Anna, go to your control panel, to internet options, and under the
general tab,
back space out the name of that home page, and type in, the search
engine you want.
Tab over to apply and then, ok, and it will be there when you open up
your browser

when I installed java it changed my search engine to ask.com so I
uninstalled java and the search engine is still ask.com how do I change
it back to being?
