Hi Pressing the enter key on an executable item in a zipped folder will run that program. But that program may need other files from the zipped folder which it probably won't be able to read. I would create and open a new regular folder somewhere on the computer, and then open the zipped folder press control+a to select all the files and press control+c to copy them to the clipboard. Then go back to the open folder just created and press control+v to paste the files into that folder. Then find the executable program, usually named setup, and press enter to install. Then when the install has successfully completed, delete the regular folder you created for the install. -----Original Message-----

A quick question. What action must be taken when a download that is being dealt with, is in a Zipped format? Thanks for any and all assistance, Dooie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Teresa Arroyo" <[email protected] To: <[email protected] Date sent: Sun, 20 Apr 2014 17:49:12 -0430 Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] view down loads Hello, Once you got a programme in your downloads folder, you go there, select the programme you donwloaded and press enter to install. Another way is to, again select what you want to install, the go to the context menu by pressing the application key or shift F10 and press open or execute. This, will install your programme. I hope this helps.
