I've got it fixed.
If you asked me how, I would be fuzzy on details, but it's putting notepad and
word and emails into my documents, I am content for now, smiles

  trish;

are you shift+tabbing until you hear
  tree-view?

  should be the third shift+tab.

  Hello David,

When after I give it a name, shift tab doesn't work as you described here.
I tab and come to "hide folders" if I enter on that, it turns to "browse
folders", then I have to use jaws cursor to read, cause I have 31 folders in
my Trish list, and "my documents" is not showing in the few that are. I can
press first letter and hop to it.
There is no other options to move to within this list, as for computer,
  library, etc.
I also am doing this in "notepad" not in Word, if that makes any difference?
I can save to "my documents" through my email client Windows Mail no
  problem.

Word docs do seem to automatically save in my documents, it's just the
notepad.txt that seem to not find their way to.

    Hello there;
Okay, once you have created your document, First when you alt+f4 your
  asked
if you want to save, assuming you say yes, The next question, what do you
want to name the file/document, now, the next question is, where do you
  want
to save this document, now, if you shift+tab until you hear; treeview
treview, documents close, or something like this, if you arrow down you
  will
see, folders contained in the documents folder, if you wich to save
somewhere else, example, my computer, yu would keep arrowing down.
    if you want my documents,
    just right arrow press enter.

hopefully this get you pointed in the right direction.

I posted this earlier, but did not see it return, so was wondering if I
    should repost?

I seem to have done something and when I save files, they are not going to
my documents, instead they are going to previous folders I had opne and I
would like to know how to direct them to save only in my documents?

I am using, windows 7 and jaws 15. Thanks for any assistance.

    Trish
