thanks, that worked nice.I can not get it to the second sound card to control jaws. I had to make it to about 12% to get it level.

Lenny,

Go to your sound icon in system tray and hit enter on it. Tab to mixer and hit enter to open. Each program has individual volume control. Just make sure the program is open

Is there anyway to control the sound level of one program? I have jaws
running through one sound card and everything else under another. I often
have to turn the sound up to hear mp3 files. The next time that I turn the
computer on blindsoft reminder really blasts. I would like to turn that
program down so it would be at the same level as the other things that play
