Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Reading extension on files in my documents
I change the setting and now I can see some of the info. The only thing is
when I arrow to the right it goes to another file. My files are laid out
horizonily in this Window 7 pc as XP was vertically. I do see the info come
up when I put my mouse pointer on the file but JAWS does not read it. Any
other suggestions.

I tried this an nothing is spoken. I have some vision and I can see there
is nothing to the right of the file. I must have to turn on or off
something in the folder options. I have checked the folder options but do
not see anything that is not check correctly as I can see it.
Any other suggestions?
Ed

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Reading extension on files in my documents
Hi Jaws users,
When I go into windows explorer and look at files I have in my documents I
cannot see how big the file is or other info on the file. When I had my XP
pc I had checked something that allowed me to see all the info on a file.
Can someone tell me what I have to check in Windows 7 to have this info show
behind the file in my documents.
Any assistance in the matter would be greatly appreciated.
Ed
