Hi Cristóbal, Don't know if you will find Jaws accessible software for that , if I'm not mistaken, that drive is running on Lynix. I have one of their network drives and don't bother with the personal cloud feature, I just use it for storage on my local network. You should be able to setup whatever folders you want using the built-in interface,it is html based. Just follow the prompts in any dialogue, you can even require passwords for network access. Tomorrow's another day, another way! and if tomorrow never comes, problem solved! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cristóbal" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 02, 2014 1:25 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Alternative NAS program Hello list, So I have this Iomega 3tb NAS drive that I want to set up. I got it really cheap from a friend who just had it laying around and never opened it. I checked reviews of it online and they're. less than encouraging. The built-in cloud software is glitchy, can't access files remotely, etc. I already have a main 3tb drive and am mostly interested in using this other one as a back up to the main drive. I'm therefore not terribly concerned as to the personal cloud stuff. I was wondering if I were to reformat the Iomega NAS and do away with all the pre-installed software, if there's a Jaws accessible program out there that would do a good job for accessing and organizing files. Either for backing up the first NAS to this one or for directly accessing and managing files. Even through other portable devices like smart phones and tablets, etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
