Hi Shoshana, Below are a couple of explanations of virtualize mode:
It makes a clear image copy of any screen in a sub screen that is all text in your virtualized window, such as, if I open the properties for a Email message in outlook express I either have to route jaws cursor to pc and then read in the jaws cursor, or I can hit that keystroke and get a pc cursor version that I can move about in like working on the desktop, can copy anything in the window and so on. hit escape to exit the VW and continue on with things from there this gives you a text document styled version of many things and full reading capabilities do a control + A, and control + C, and you just copied the whole thing, etc. HTH, Inthane From: chris hallsworth It puts the contents of the focused window in a viewer JAWS generates, called Virtual Viewer. You can navigate it like a word document as you use the virtual pC cursor. You can select, copy, and even paste the text into a document or e-mail, so useful if you wish to do a sort of screenshot and send it to technical support. Chris Hallsworth Take care. What is it, and what does it do?
