Tom,
I always use the Adobe site, and navigate the headings by pressing the
letter H down to the "Get Reader" or "Get Flash Player" links and press
Enter on the one that I want to install. When prompted to Save or Run, I
always choose Run, because I have experienced some troubles trying to
install Adobe products from the downloaded Executable file in the past. Be
sure to watch for the check boxes to install Google Chrome and the Google
Tool Bar during the installation process, and uncheck them if you do not
want them. Then, I just let the software install itself, and there is no
pain involved.
