Never seen a site like that for forms and combo box's, hope I don't have to use it, but good to know there's a work around ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Justice" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, May 26, 2014 3:43 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Beenverified.com and Searches
Hi Trish, On my system, Jaws does not recognize that portion as a form, so no combo box for the state entry. The work-around I found is this: After I submit the form without any state selected, I get a different page notifying me that The form was incomplete, so this is what I do. Press F6 to put the focus on the address bar, and then as I read to the right, I come to the state field, which at point is empty, so I simply type in the name of the state, and hit enter. This seems to work without fail, I just wanted a more direct approach. Also, don't forget you can press, Alt down arrow for more choices, then up/down arrow. I will often press, the "enter" key on my num-pad to close the combo box, before tabing to the next field. It works for me ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Justice" <[email protected]> To: "Jaws-Users List" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, May 26, 2014 4:08 AM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Beenverified.com and Searches Using Jaws 15 latest build, Windows 7 and IE 10, when filling out the form for a search, I can access the form fields just fine until I come to the selection of the state, and according to Jaws, this does not seem to be a list with clickable items, or combo box. I have found a work-around, but wanted to see if anyone has successfully selected a state while in forms mode.
