Tom, a little different answer, but if I'm not sure about what the links are on a web page, I use the links list feature which is insert F7, and it lists all the links on the page. Then I can go through them and see what is there. I have found sometimes that if I am just scrolling down through a page I will find a list of things that don't say "link", but when that links list is activated, it is like the link is activated and it works.
