I'm using Jaws 13 and not pro, just whatever Jaws for us unprofessionals is
called and Office 2003 and I do exactly what Debbie suggested. I put the
cursor on the t rather than the h and the link always opens.

Hi David,

I don't know for sure if the following will help. I say that because of the
message you got when you used the JAWS cursor. But I used to find that in
Outlook 20003 I had to do something strange to get the link to open. If the
link started with "http,"
I would put the pc cursor on the first "t" in the url and then press enter.
The link would open as expected. Not sure if this is a solution for you, but
I think it is worth a try.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Links don't open in outlook 2003

Hi;

Jaws 15, W7pro, Outlook 2003

When I press enter with the PC cursor I hear the error bell.
When I click
on the link with the Jaws cursor I bet the following message:

Microsoft Office Outlook dialog
This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact your system administrator.
OK Button

I am the administrator since I am the only user. As a work around I do the
following.

Copy the link to the clip board

Open Internet Explorer

Press control+O

Paste in the link and press enter

The link opens but there must be a way to get things working properly.

All help will be appreciated.
