INstead of using the command of Control + C to copy, use Control + X to cut.
That's it.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] cut, not copy to a memory stick
I asked earlier how to move files/folders I want to save from my documents,
to a memory stick, and thanks to those that helped, but I didn’t know that
if a file is simply moved, it’s just copied to the memory stick, and what I
need is to cut these files/folders to the memory stick, so that they will no
longer be in my documents, instead of deleting them after they are copied.
is there a way to cut files/folders to a memory stick? jaws 12, win 7
