Hello there. I just migrated to Win8 with Office 2010, MS Lync 2010 and JAWS15 from Win7, Office 2007, Lync 2007 and JAWS15. I'm noticing some differences and can't figure out the following. Would you pl help? I've been using latest suing 1. In MS Word 2007 to search for a word in a document, control F, then typing the search text and then hitting alt F would do the trick. In office 2010, control F does bring up the search window, I then type the search text in the edit field but now hitting alt F does nothing. If I hit tab from the edit field I land on a search split button and I don't know what to do here. Would you pl share the keystroke to initiate the search in the document such that it either finds it and lands on it or if it doesn't it tells me so? 2. In outlook 2010, all seems to working just fine...inbox, my personal folders etc. except the calendar view. Sighted folks see all my appointments and meetings there but when in calendar view in outlook 2010 arrowing up/down with JAWS says nothing. Would you pl share how should I set the calendar view options for JAWS to speak all my meetings and allow me to open any by hitting enter? 3. Finally, Lync 2010 is acting finicky compared to Lync 2007 when I am trying to have an IM conversation with someone here at work. In 2007 Lync, tabbing would always consistently land me on the edit field for me to type in my msg as well as in the IM history pane to read the response of the other person. But now tabbing very inconsistently lands me on these 2 areas and jaws just seems to unreliably land on either of these. How may I solve this problem?
Ok that is it. the 3 issues above for now. Thanks prateek For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
