Avast or that other option that I can't spell off hand. Avast is easy
although I don't know what you are currently using at the moment. Sorry, but
I read many messages enough to find out if they are on topic or not and then
just move on as there are so many.

well if your not running MSE, then there should be somewhere within your
anti-virus to disabled it, I remember back on xp I could do that using that
AVG and even Norton.
MSE seems to have no issues allowing it to install.

I wonder if you opened the control panel, press "f" for flash player and
enter on it, then do control-tab to the advance tab, then tab to the
checkbox to allow adobe to install updates, check it, and save.
Maybe that will work?
I just looked on my system here it' is checked on mine to allow for updates
to install.

like so many others, I have no idea on how to temporarily disable my anti
virus, and I simply delete the update, because I have version 13 on my
laptop now

maybe you should turn off your virus temporarily to get this adobe.
Have you at any time recieved a adobe update? It usually happens for me when
I turn on my laptop for the day, if you do, then press alt i, but you might
still need to uncheck the google/crome and you might have to turn off your
anti-virus just to allow this to install, have you tried that first without
trying to downloading it?

did you read that bit that said, your anti-virus must allow for this
dl/install? so maybe that's why it stops reckon?
I use MSE and didn't encounter that issue.
