Jaws will only speak the word when you press the spacebar or use
punctuation.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Echo problem with JAWS
I am trying to have JAWS echo characters and words when typing. I have set
it to do this in JAWS Settings Center and in all the quick settings for each
application, but JAWS will only echo words when I press the spacebar.
The computer I'm working on is usint Vista and JAWS 14.
Any ideas as to why this is happening?
