Well, Amazon does provide a version of its web site that is "optimized" for screen readers. But it turns out that this site is actually the mobile version of Amazon.com designed to work with cell phones, that just happens to work reasonably well with screen readers. It's not as if Amazon went out of its way to make its web site blind friendly; it just worked out that way by coincidence. So technically speaking, Amazon.com is accessible, even though the screen reader-optimized version leaves a lot to be desired, as far as I'm concerned. At least JAWS doesn't crash or freeze when accessing this version of Amazon.com using IE or Firefox.

What I would do in this case, is contact FS tech support about this, and explain the problem, then I’d contact the world wide web consordium about this matter, they are in charge of getting these companies to make there website accessible for blind people like ourselves with screenreaders, and especially for people with disibilities.
