Hi,
There are different types of combo boxes in the internet.
In my iBank, it's enter and arrow down or up to change to a different combo
box.
In the Veteran VA website it's shift tab, then tab.
Then, use your up or down arrow to select a care giver.
And as posted, alt + down arrow.

Anna, I'm not using JAWS 15, but what happens if you press control+down
arrow when you're situated on a combobox?
