Dear friend, it seams to me that your jfw is not running successfully.
The question is that if you are using crack jaws?
If so, make sure that before cracking it, you must unload jaws before
cracking it.
If you are running licenced version, you must uninstall jaws with share
component and reinstall it the issue will be resolved.
Uninstallation with share component is necessary if you have repaired your
jaws more than 1 times.

Hi all, I'm running Jaws 12.0 on a Windows xp pro laptop. It installed
fine, and it comes up saying Jaws for Windows is Ready, but any key press
I try after that, I get, No window is active. I try to do a Windows key M
to go to the desktop, I've tried to get to the Jaws window, and nothing.
I've tried repairing Jaws, and still get the same thing. Any help would be
