Flor, I'm using latest version of 6 at home and 7 at my dad's office. I didn't see anything about a splash screen when I first installed it, but I did manage to disable the graphical interface. If there is a splash screen, please tell me how to turn it off. F5 gets me into the advanced setup where I can down/up arrow to the 7 categories and then right arrow to down/up arrow the choices and then tab/shift tab thru the settings and make my changes. But what about accessing the other areas of ESS, There must be other areas such as performing a scan, choosing what type of scan, etc.
