Hi,
A bit og googling yields the following two results, among others less
promising:
1. Another solution is to use a program called AnyDVD which will disable
the copy protection on the DVD while it's playing so any other program
will play them fine.
2. Windows Media Player classic, available from several download sites.
it has no problem with the DHCP standard.

Trying to play a dvd i receive the following error message.

Searching for an updated driver I am told that I have the latest
driver.
