This is a known problem and has been happening for some time. Only work around is use Ctrl Y on a folder and it will tell you

If I restart Outlook then Jaws will announce how many emails I have in each folder. Then after some time say maybe an hour or so when I arrow down the folder Jaws will not announce how many emails are in each folder. Do any of you have this issue with Jaws and if so what can a person do about it besides restarting Outlook?
