Jorge: I normally just do CTRL shift home, to select from the current location to the top, but Dennies solution does work, at least for me. Where is your cursor located when you perform the shift home command. I placed mine after the period of a sentence, then did shift home and verified the text selection and it worked. When the cursor is placed on a blank spot, it did not work.

One of these folders has gotten too large; it takes me too long to locate a certain book. I want to make two folders instead of one and have half the files in each folder. Again these are files on a network drive. Is there a relatively painless way to select a large number of files and move them into a new folder? To do it a couple at a time would take forever.
