I don't know if this will solve your problem. It may not, but you might try
this:

To Select a block of text.

1. put your focus in front of where you want to copy and press control
windows k. This will put a temporary place marker at that place.
2. then go to the end of where you want to copy and press a cap lock space
bar and press m.

3. Then press ctrl C to copy the selected text.

Hi Alana,

Try the following:
1. Open the website & press, Insert / Jaws key + V, to open quick settings.
2. Arrow down to, Virtual Cursor Options, & under this heading you'll hear,
Select & Copy....
3. Press the spacebar on Select & Copy until you hear, full content using on

screen highlight.
4. Tab to the Okay button & press enter to save your change & close quick
settings.

HTHTake care.
Mike

Hello,

When I try to select some words on a website, as I am pressing shift with
down arrow, JAWS will read what I am selecting but when I press shift insert
down arrow, JAWS states that some of the elements of that page have been
selected such as the text saying "Menu" So, something else has been selected
instead of the words. For those members in Australia, it is from the
Griffith university website. I have routed the cursors, but no luck.

Alana
