no no. This will not mute the system sound. It will only mute the jaws. To mute
the system sound, go to the system tray, click on speaker icon, and then search
for volume mixture. Now tab to mute system sound followed by spacebar.

can someone remind me of the jaws keystrokes to mute the sound on my
laptop? it's a much easier way, than going to the system tray,
