Yes, this is a known issue for some time now. You can use the command Ctrl Y to bring up a list of all folders and the unread messages will be read in this view.
Best, Al -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Pinky Sent: Saturday, November 01, 2014 12:19 PM To: JAWS-Users-List 2 Subject: [JAWS-Users] losing focus on folder in Outlook 2010 I am using JAWS 15 and Outlook 2010 does your JAWS stop announcing the number of unread email you have in your different folders? On my Outlook 2010 I have a list of folders that email go into from different groups, deleted, sent, and so on. When I first load Outlook 2010 and I scroll down the list of my folders it will JAWS will announce how many new emails I have in each folder. But after a little while JAWs will only announce the folder name and not the amount that is in the folder. If I close and restart Outlook 2010 then it will announce the number of emails again in each folder. Do you have this problem? I know it seems to be worst with JAWS 15 then when I had JAWS 14.
