Hi Lenny, Have you tried to use Openbook to read it or, another OCR program? I don't have a protected PDF file to play around with so, I can't experiment. 1 other thought, since the text is on the screen, try virtualizing the window, selecting all the text, & pasting it into Notepad to see if you can read it that way.
